FOUNDER OF NIVLUX SKIN & LASER
For Nilika Kumar, NivLux Skin & Laser is more than a business—it is the result of years spent caring for others, continuing her education, and believing that confidence and self-care can go hand in hand.
With more than a decade of experience in healthcare and a background in nursing and education, Nilika brings a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to aesthetics. Her passion for continued learning led her to advanced aesthetic training and the creation of NivLux Skin & Laser—a space where modern technology, personalized care, and genuine connection come together.
Nilika believes aesthetic care should never be about changing who you are. It should be about understanding your individual concerns, creating a plan that makes sense for you, and helping you feel confident in the skin you’re in.

Dr. Kim Rappaport, MD
AESTHETICS MEDICAL DIRECTOR
With over 12 years of experience in the aesthetics field, Dr. Rappaport combines a deep understanding of medicine with a passion for aesthetic artistry. A graduate of UC Davis and Georgetown University School of Medicine, Dr. Rappaport originally trained as an OB-GYN before transitioning into aesthetics, where her expertise has flourished.
Dr. Rappaport has attended numerous advanced aesthetic training programs, continually refining her skills to stay at the forefront of the industry. She has also worked with some of the top medical spas in the Bay Area, earning a reputation for excellence and precision in her work.
As a Medical Director, Dr. Rappaport specializes in injectables, her favorite procedure, and takes pride in creating personalized anti-aging treatments that enhance natural beauty while prioritizing patient safety. Her dedication and artistry have made her a trusted leader in the aesthetics community.
Outside of work, Dr. Rappaport enjoys crossword puzzles, reading, power walking, hiking, and spending time with her family, especially her two young grandsons.
